2026 Guest of Honor Vern Yip

Renowned interior designer Vern Yip has transformed homes across America, earning national acclaim through his standout roles on TLC’s Trading Spaces and a decade of design leadership on HGTV. From hosting Deserving Design and HGTV Urban Oasis to serving as a longtime judge on HGTV Design Star, Vern’s warm presence and sophisticated style have made him a household name. His most recent show, Home Reimagined for Magnolia Network, will debut a new season in 2026 on HBO Max and Discovery+.

Beyond television, Vern has left his mark on the world of product design. His partnerships include a celebrated fabric and wallcovering line with Fabricut, a lighting collection with Stonegate by AFX, and most recently, a kitchen and bath collection with SKL Home. In 2027, he will debut a luxurious wool rug line with Jaipur Living. His creativity even extended into pop culture through a limited-edition Diet Pepsi can—making him the only interior designer to receive such an honor.

A graduate of the University of Virginia and Georgia Tech—with an honorary doctorate from SCAD—Vern draws design inspiration from his travels to over 60 countries. His global perspective shapes the eclectic yet elegant sensibility he brings to both residential and commercial projects through his Atlanta-based firm, Vern Yip Designs.

Vern’s commitment to making a difference is equally inspiring. For 16 years, he has served as a U.S. Ambassador for UNICEF, designing events such as New York’s Snowflake Ball and founding The UNICEF Experience in Atlanta. His philanthropic leadership beautifully aligns with the spirit of Naples Tables.
