Ms. Dileo has received many awards and recognition for her work in the Community: Urban League’s Award of Merit, the NAACP’s Freedom Award , Mathews Dickey Meritorious Community Service Award, St Louis University Martin Luther King Civic Award, UMSL’s 2014 Community Builders Network’s Banking Award the Human Development Corporation’s Community Service Signal Award, the Argus Distinguished Citizen’s Award and the Salute to Women in Leadership Award. She was recognized as a YWCA Women’s Leader of Distinction. The St. Charles Business magazine honored her with the Dove Award for Career/Business Achievement, and the Mayor of St. Louis declared June 26, 2007 Melanie DiLeo Day in the City of St. Louis in honor of her dedication to Heat Up St. Louis and other organizations in the community that she serves with great passion.

Ms. DiLeo was a member of the Gateway Center for Giving and Social Venture Partnership and RISE Oversight Committee and St. Louis Graduates Founding Committee and Big Brothers and Big Sisters on the Executive Committee and United Way.
