Warrior Homes of Collier received a $45,000 donation from The League Club to support housing and veteran services in Collier County. The funding will help operate the nonprofit’s six Naples residences for at-risk and homeless veterans while supporting programs including mental health counseling, peer support, homelessness prevention and educational opportunities. Warrior Homes also plans to open a seventh residence, the Zulu Project, this fall. Founded in 2014, the organization has housed 158 veterans and provides support services to more than 12,000 veterans annually. The League Club has awarded more than $8 million in grants over the past 39 years.
